Quality Education
This global goal is #4 Quality Education. The goal is to Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Why is Education important? Education is important because it is a starting foundation of knowledge. By not getting an education you lack in reading, writing and understanding around the world. Education is also important because without an education you cant earn your own living because you don't have the skills to qualify for a job that could make you live a better or decent living. Having an education also makes you aware of your surroundings, it makes you aware of your health status and how you live, by being aware of your health it can reduce infant mortality and different types of diseases. Being aware of your surroundings also educates you about responsibilities as a citizen. Being educated also means you can take part of some of the global problems and help reduce the global issue, whiles the cause of most of the global issues such as (climate change, life on land) might be because people are not educated and cant solve the problem because they are not aware of the issue. Right now only 49% of children will attend secondary school.
Does quality education lead to more inclusive societies?

What is classified as quality education?Everyone should have the right to at least have primary education. In these statistics which show the total primary education regardless of age and sex. Worldwide around 91% of primary aged children were enrolled in school in 2013. However there is still a long journey in some regions to reach the goal of having everyone educated with at least primary education.
Is standard education affordable? In come countries attending school is not compulsory therefor tuition needs to be paid and some people cant afford the fees for primary education. In most occasions education is compulsory and paid for by the government until a certain age whereas the parents have to pay the fees themselves. Here this map shows you wether countries make their education accessible to their citizens by providing free tuition for the primary level. The countries colored green mean that school is compulsory and that the tuition is paid for. The beige colored means that the tuition is free but attending school is not compulsory. And the red colored means that the country reports charging tuition fees. Even though most of the countries offer accessible education for their citizens it does not mean that every individual child can attend school, for example if a family is living in poverty they may refuse their child to attend school and instead to work for the family so they can benefit from this, salary wise.
